Rental Terms & Conditions

These Rental Terms & Conditions apply to all equipment rented from McCann’s Medical. By renting equipment, you agree to the following terms.

1. Rental Period

Rental charges begin on the date the equipment is picked up or delivered and continue until the equipment is returned or picked up by McCann’s Medical.

Rental periods may be daily, weekly, or monthly depending on the item

Extensions must be requested in advance and are subject to availability

2. Payment & Deposits

By renting equipment from McCann’s Medical, customers authorize McCann’s Medical to charge the payment method provided for rental fees, approved rental extensions, overdue rental charges, cleaning fees, repair costs, replacement costs, delivery fees, pickup fees, and other amounts due under these Terms & Conditions.

Payment is due at the start of the rental period unless otherwise agreed
A deposit may be required for certain equipment
Rental charges will continue to accrue until the equipment is returned

3. Equipment Use & Responsibility

The renter agrees to:

Use equipment only for its intended purpose
Follow all safety and usage instructions
Ensure the equipment is used in a safe environment

The renter is responsible for:

Loss, theft, or damage while the equipment is in their possession
Any misuse or neglect of the equipment

4. Condition of Equipment

Equipment is provided in clean, working condition
The renter must return equipment in the same condition, normal wear and tear excepted

Additional fees may apply for:

Excessive cleaning
Damage beyond normal use
Missing parts or accessories

5. Returns

Equipment must be returned on or before the agreed return date
Late returns may result in additional rental charges
Early returns do not guarantee a refund for unused time

6. Delivery & Pickup

If delivery or pickup is requested:

Delivery fees are not refundable.
Someone must be present at the scheduled time
The renter is responsible for ensuring safe and accessible delivery conditions
Delivery windows are estimates and may be affected by weather, traffic, or other circumstances outside of our control

If pickup is missed or access is not available, additional fees may apply.

7. Cancellations

Cancellations must be made prior to delivery or pickup and fees may apply
Same-day cancellations will be subject to a fee

8. Maintenance & Repairs

Do not attempt to repair or modify equipment
Contact McCann’s Medical immediately if equipment is not functioning properly

We will coordinate repairs or replacement if needed.

9. Liability Disclaimer

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

McCann’s Medical is not liable for injury, loss, or damage resulting from improper use of rental equipment
The renter assumes all risk associated with the use of the equipment

10. Indemnification

The renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless McCann’s Medical from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the use or misuse of the rented equipment.

11. Failure to Return Equipment

Failure to return equipment may result in:

Continued rental charges
Replacement cost charges
Additional collection efforts if necessary

12. Manufacturer Guidelines

Some equipment may include manufacturer-specific instructions or limitations. The renter agrees to follow all provided guidelines.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon.
